The handsome thief Luo Ziyang (played by Zhang Zhilin) has only one working day a year, but each time he returns with a bounty of gold foil. During one of his missions, he unexpectedly encounters another female thief, A Cat (played by Shu Qi), who is there with her sisters to steal treasures. The two fall in love at first sight and become a couple. However, as time goes on, they find it increasingly difficult to communicate, eventually leading to a breakup.
