Unable to tolerate her boyfriend Moses (Ren Xianqi)'s mediocrity, A Mi resolutely breaks up with him. As the saying goes, "A blessing in disguise," while volunteering at an elderly home, Moses becomes good friends with a grumpy old man known as the Gecko King. After the old man dies, he leaves a massive inheritance to Moses. This action of the Gecko King causes dissatisfaction from his lawyer Allen, who unintentionally reveals this matter to Miss Didi (Zhang Bozhi) while venting at a nightclub. To reel Moses in, Didi uses all her tricks, but to no avail. After discovering that Moses is a rare good man, Didi genuinely falls for him, and the two begin a passionate romance. Soon, Allen informs Moses of Didi's true identity, leaving him extremely heartbroken; at this moment, A Mi returns wanting to reconcile with him.
