In a routine traffic accident, Yu Miao's husband Liu Mingyi shot and killed Xu Tian's girlfriend, and was immediately shot dead by the police. Xu Tian sought compensation from Yu Miao, and the two went to find the arms dealer Ma San Tan, who sold the gun to Liu Mingyi, only to discover that Ma San Tan was caught in a police raid led by Lian Guangkuo. Ma San Tan jumped off a bridge and was seriously injured.
