Niloufar (played by Ali Reza Aghakhani) is a 35-year-old single woman living a dependent life with her mother. Due to the thermal inversion, the air quality in Tehran is deteriorating, and Niloufar's mother suffers from respiratory diseases caused by severe air pollution. The only way to save her is to leave Tehran. As the youngest daughter in the family, Niloufar reluctantly accepts the responsibility of taking her mother away from their hometown, even though she is not entirely willing. However, she has always been submissive to the demands of her elders. Just at this critical moment, Niloufar reunites with her former lover. The return of her ex-lover shakes Niloufar's resolve, and she decides to no longer be an obedient daughter but to fight for her own fate.
