During World War II, the German army was retreating at every turn, but the defeats in battle did not prevent the Germans from committing mass murders in their French colonies. Instead, the Germans began an even more frenzied slaughter. In Paris, doctor Julien (played by Philippe Noiret) felt the increasingly tense atmosphere in the city and feared for the safety of his family, so he arranged for his wife and children to return to the countryside to avoid the situation. After a while, Julien decided to return to the countryside to visit his family. However, upon returning, he found nothing but traces of blood; the brutal German army had massacred the small village. In his anger, Julien found an old gun in the family's old house. Julien decided to raise the sword of revenge against the German army!
