The film tells the story of a father and son who are in a hostile relationship. Both the father and son work at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and they are experts in Jewish law, both eccentric and quirky individuals. However, when the Israel Prize, the highest award for scholars in Israel, is to be awarded, their conflict finally erupts, resulting in a painful and inconclusive confrontation.
