At a concert, violinist Ryan (Leslie Nielsen) encounters the beautiful woman Lauren (Kelly LeBrock), who flirts with him, leaving Ryan flustered. UN Secretary-General Robert is set to deliver an anti-terrorism speech in Colombia, and Lauren's husband, Hebing, is responsible for all the arrangements. Ryan receives an invitation from Lauren, noting that if he doesn't come, she will commit suicide. Anxiously, Ryan arrives at Lauren's villa, only to find Hebing already dead on the floor. Suddenly, a one-eyed, one-armed, one-legged man appears and knocks Ryan unconscious. When Ryan wakes up, he has been arrested by the police, and absurdly, he is charged with the murder of Hebing. Despite his repeated protests, he is taken to prison. On the way, the prison transport unexpectedly crashes down a cliff, and the surviving Ryan begins a desperate flight, seeking to evade capture while trying to find evidence to clear his name!
