In 1931, the shocking "September 18th Incident" broke out. The martial artist Hua Zhiqiang, after witnessing his mother being killed by the Japanese army, fled his homeland with his lover, Zhang Xiaoye. Along the way, they became separated. Xiaoye escaped to Beiping and sought refuge at her uncle Wei Xin's house. Wei Xin was already a disgraced traitor, serving as a translator under Sakata. Sakata's public identity was that of a diplomatic envoy, but in reality, he was a Japanese spy who specialized in organizing kidnappings and assassinations of our resistance fighters. At this time, Sakata specifically arranged for his son, Japanese warrior Kojiro, to come to Beiping to compete with Director Yang of the Chinese Martial Arts Academy, hoping to use this opportunity to conquer the Chinese martial arts community. However, Sakata was well aware of Director Yang's exceptional martial skills, so he secretly dispatched assassins to ambush him at the Lugou Bridge. Fortunately, Hua Zhiqiang, disguised as a coachman, saved Director Yang, allowing him to escape danger. Kojiro was very dissatisfied with his father's approach and insisted on defeating Director Yang through fair competition. With no choice, Sakata sent Wei Xin to issue a challenge at the martial arts academy, agreeing to a duel the next day. The following day, the Chinese and Japanese sides set up a contest area at the Temple of Heaven for a life-and-death battle. Director Yang's martial skills were outstanding, and Kojiro could only defend himself. Later, Director Yang feigned a misstep and called for a retreat. That night, Sakata finally poisoned Director Yang. Just as Sakata was raising a toast to celebrate in his mansion, Hua Zhiqiang burst in to avenge his master. Sakata aimed his gun to kill Hua Zhiqiang but was stopped by Kojiro. Kojiro insisted on duel with Hua Zhiqiang, but after only a few exchanges, he was defeated. Embarrassed, Kojiro resolved to return home to train rigorously in ninjutsu, vowing to compete with Hua Zhiqiang again in the future. In retaliation, Sakata incited ninjas to attack the Chinese Martial Arts Academy. Hua Zhiqiang fought his way out but was pursued by ninjas to the banks of the Yellow River. In a moment of desperation, he jumped into the Yellow River, where he was rescued by a boatman's daughter, Hu Niu. From then on, Hua Zhiqiang trained in the raging currents of the Yellow River, mastering extraordinary skills. Soon, Kojiro returned to China. They met by the Yellow River and agreed to have a duel at the Great Wall on September 18th to determine the victor. Kojiro used ninjutsu to press Hua Zhiqiang step by step. However, with a determination to resist foreign humiliation and violence, Hua Zhiqiang finally defeated Kojiro with the great techniques of Chinese martial arts. At that moment, Sakata suddenly took lethal action, and Hua Zhiqiang fell under Sakata's gunfire, while the Great Wall, symbolizing the backbone of the Chinese nation, stood tall and firm.
