Firefighter Gordon (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) has a beautiful and happy family. However, he encounters a disaster: Colombian terrorists destroy a building in a bustling area of Los Angeles for their own purposes, and a late Gordon witnesses the fire caused by the explosion burning his wife and child alive while they wait for him in front of the building. The U.S. government only provides Gordon with four words of explanation - "indirect damage." Despite Gordon's efforts to urge the authorities to bring the criminals to justice, Colombian officials claim it was the work of rebels, who have been in a civil war with the government for ten years, and the government has no way to apprehend the criminals. The government's weak response completely infuriates Gordon, who decides to travel to Colombia himself to find these terrorists and make them pay with their blood!
