Mike (played by Yu Wenle) is the police officer with the highest case-solving rate in Hong Kong, which is due to his wealth, or more precisely, his father's wealth. Using money as bait and bribing informants has consistently raised his case-solving record while earning him the nickname "Flower Police" from his colleagues. Nobody believes he can solve cases without money. During one investigation, Mike brings major trouble to the police department again—he scatters money from the air, causing a traffic jam—resulting in his suspension. Lin Heng (played by Chen Kun), who comes from the mainland to investigate his brother's death and is also wealthy, happens to know Mike. On the day they meet, both are dressed in the same suit and tie, hinting at a fateful connection; coincidentally, Mike's ex-girlfriend Lisa (played by Zhong Jiaying) is inseparable from Lin Heng. One wants to find the real culprit, while the other wants to prove his abilities. Lin Heng and Mike team up, and as they gather clues, they gradually realize they are being led into a trap by the murderer. Amidst the perilous situations, an extraordinary friendship develops between the two, but the ending is not as happy as we might expect.
