The film consists of two short stories.   The wealthy man Hu Wannian (Wang Hancheng) has died, leaving his wife (Wang Lai) all alone and helpless. Hu Wannian's daughter (Hu Yinyin) informs her three brothers that their mother possesses a large gold ingot left by their father, which is worth a fortune. Consequently, the three siblings eagerly start taking care of their mother, but their actions are not motivated by genuine concern; they are merely seeking to inherit the wealth. Ultimately, the mother passes away, having received meticulous care from her children throughout her life, and only then do the three men realize they have fallen into their sister's trap.   The boss's wife is dissatisfied with her husband's old age, as their marriage has lost its passion. By chance, she encounters the coachman Xiao Tang (Jackie Chan), igniting a passionate spark between them. However, this affair is soon discovered by the boss.
