A severe hacking incident occurred simultaneously in Hong Kong, China, and Los Angeles, USA, prompting the Chinese government and the FBI to join forces to uncover the truth. Investigations revealed that the hacker utilized remote access tools during the crime, and the programmer behind it is a mysterious man named Nicholas (played by Chris Hemsworth), who is currently behind bars. Chen Dawei (played by Wang Leehom) is the officer in charge of the case. He and his sister (played by Tang Wei) travel to Los Angeles, where they get help from agent Carol (played by Viola Davis) to track down Nicholas. They strike a deal with him: if Nicholas can help them find the true mastermind behind the hacking incident, he will regain his freedom.
