Gu Taifeng (played by Wen Meisen) is a genius teenager with a high IQ. He grew up in a single-parent family and is filled with doubts and curiosity about his origins. One day, Gu Taifeng hacked into the hospital's database and discovered a secret hidden within his identity. It turns out that his father is a young man named Zhou Liyan (played by Li Zhiting), who donated sperm when he was young, thus becoming Gu Taifeng's biological father by coincidence. So, Gu Taifeng decides to travel across the ocean to China in search of his father. Faced with this unexpected "son," Zhou Liyan's attitude is one of rejection; he is completely unprepared to be a father, let alone take care of such an eccentric child.
