In a small courtyard in the suburban area of Beijing, Hou Dong (played by Hou Jun) and his wife Wenwen (played by Li Mingyi) raise a Tibetan mastiff named "Ben'er Tou," living a very comfortable life. Before long, this area is scheduled for urban redevelopment, and the couple moves into an apartment building. According to city management regulations, it is strictly prohibited to keep large fierce dogs in residential areas.
