In the late Qing Dynasty, Huang Feihong (Jet Li), a martial arts master from Foshan, Guangdong, who served as the coach of the Black Flag Navy and the chief coach of the militia, often taught martial arts in Baozhilin, hoping to strengthen himself and save the country.
