Adapted from the Hollywood movie "Cellular." On this day, like any other, single mother Grace (played by 徐熙媛) works tirelessly almost all night as an engineer, then takes her daughter Tingting to school the next day. On the way, she is deliberately rammed by Huo Deneng (played by 刘烨), causing Grace to faint. When she wakes up, she finds herself trapped inside a closed cargo container. While unconscious, she saw Huo Deneng rummaging through her house and murdering the maid, and upon waking, she is interrogated about where she has hidden things. Clueless, Grace has no way out, and after the criminal leaves, she desperately connects a damaged phone to call Ah Bong (played by 古天乐) from the financial company. Upon receiving Grace's heartfelt pleas, Ah Bong casually hands the phone to Officer Hui (played by 张家辉), but since he can't hear Grace clearly, Hui warns Ah Bong not to mess around. After hearing gunshots on the phone, Ah Bong realizes the severity of the situation and decides to help Grace. The first thing to do is intercept the criminals who are heading to the school to take Tingting as leverage. The second target of the criminals is to find Grace's brother, as they believe their incriminating evidence is in his hands. Along the way, Ah Bong is mistaken for a robber and chased by the police, and in a bind, he is shocked to discover that Huo Deneng’s group is actually Interpol. He has to rely on keeping the call going to save the day, and the appearance of Officer Hui brings a glimmer of hope.
