The story takes place in a highly advanced era of computer technology, where a scientist invents a killing program to assist the police in solving cases, gathering data on hundreds of serial killers and their methods. This program is so evil that it not only generates a personal will but also acquires a human appearance and the special ability to repair any damage at will. It escapes from confinement and wreaks havoc in the world.To capture this evil “murderer,” the police design a tracking device, and the criminal Parker (played by Denzel Washington) is chosen to be the test subject.
