The story takes place on the eve of the Romanian Revolution. To raise funds for weapons and complete the final preparations for the revolution, the "Revolutionaries' Alliance" instructs Barenț to retrieve a cache of treasures that has been under the care of Strauss for many years in Bucharest and to hand it over to a comrade codenamed "Yellow Rose." After receiving the instructions, Barenț, along with his assistant, goes through many twists and turns to find Strauss's son and retrieves the treasures. During the transfer, they encounter actress Akata and another person, forming a traveling companionship. However, not long after, they are attacked by government troops, and Barenț and others sacrifice themselves heroically, while the treasures fall into Akata's hands. It turns out she is a spy sent by the opposition. Upon learning of this situation, the "Revolutionaries' Alliance" immediately sends its comrades to execute Akata and successfully deliver the treasures to their destination.
