After the fierce battle between GPS and the Kirizawa Corps, Suzuran High School enters a brief period of peace. Tamaki Kirizawa (played by Takayuki Yamada) steps down from the gang leader position, while Genji Takitani (played by Shun Oguri) continues to challenge the terrifying Kei Hayashida (played by Genki Sudo). Eight months pass quickly, and the turmoil between Suzuran and their rival, Fusen Academy, reignites. Two years ago, the Suzuran Corps, led by Jin Kawanishi (played by Shunsuke Abe), waged war against Fusen Academy, led by Makiya Mido. In the midst of the chaos, Kawanishi fatally stabs Mido, and he is subsequently sent to a juvenile detention center. To prevent further casualties, Suzuran and Fusen sign a ceasefire agreement. Two years later, Kawanishi is released and hunted by Fusen Academy. Kirizawa intervenes, and Takitani's involvement further destroys the ceasefire agreement.
