The film is based on the novel of the same name by Antony Johnston and tells the story of espionage actions before the end of the "Cold War": In 1989, the situation in East Germany changed dramatically, and the "Berlin Wall" faced the fate of being torn down. However, this was also the darkest moment, with various assassination attempts occurring. A British MI6 undercover officer is assassinated in Berlin; he possesses a list of spies brought back from East Germany, but the killers find nothing on him. An agent named Lorraine Broughton (played by Charlize Theron) takes on the mission to retrieve this spy list. Previously reported, directors David Leitch and Kelly McCormick are set to shoot a sequel to "John Wick," with lead stars including Keanu Reeves returning. But before filming this, they will focus on bringing this action-thriller with a strong female lead to the big screen.
