The Hong Kong police received a videotape indicating that three police members were suspected of using violence against a man in the street. As a result, members of the Complaints Against Police Office started investigating members of the Emergency Unit (PTU). Officer Lee Wing-sum (played by Andy Lau) recognized the officers in the tape as himself and his colleagues, while the violent act was directed toward a criminal known as "Big Hemp." Thus, Ah Sum decided to conceal the incident from superiors and seek a private resolution with "Big Hemp." However, "Big Hemp" was nowhere to be found. Officer Ma Ba (played by Lee Gwok-lun) sought financial assistance from the police but was turned down, and during a mission, he was assaulted by his superior, pushing him to a dead end in life. Tension rises among the three police officers overnight. Will they be able to solve their respective problems?
