In the future, humanity can manipulate time at will and rewrite age. In human society, regardless of how long a person lives, their age is forever fixed at 25. With the absence of natural death to avoid overpopulation, human society has abandoned traditional currency and uses time as the medium of exchange. When a person's time runs out, they die. A poor man named Will (played by Justin Timberlake) unexpectedly gains a massive fortune and has an endless supply of time. However, he becomes a suspect in a murder case due to this incident and embarks on a journey of escape. During his flight, he kidnaps the heiress of the time bank (played by Amanda Seyfried). Throughout their escape, sparks of emotion ignite between them. Both are deeply dissatisfied with the current time management system and join forces to fight against this ruling institution. Can just the two of them overthrow a well-established power structure?
