A young wrestler from the vast grasslands of Inner Mongolia, Narin (played by Zhao Ke), is invited to Japan to perform wrestling. Before her departure, Grandma Jin Yue (played by Siqin Gaowa) asks her to find her grandson Chinas (played by Chen Weiting), who she hasn't seen for over a decade.
The wrestling event host, Boss, always wears a clown mask and displays arrogant behavior. During the wrestling event, Narin meets Masako (played by Naoko Watanabe), who was once abandoned by her husband, and Yueyue (played by Li Fei'er), who ran away from home after a conflict with her father in Hong Kong. Boss manipulates them into agreeing to form a team to challenge another fierce women's wrestling team. Narin finds Grandma Jin Yue's grandson, who has changed his name to Ruonan and works in foot massage. Unexpectedly, Ruonan refuses to return to the grasslands with her. Greedy, Boss and her agent, Xiao Baihe, change the match to mud wrestling without Narin's prior knowledge. Narin endures humiliation to compete. She later discovers that Boss's true identity is Ruonan, who was forced to retire from the sumo world five years ago, originally named Chinas. In her anger, Narin resolves to awaken her childhood friend's conscience with love and reclaim her lost self.
Finally, Chinas and Narin return to the grasslands together, donning the wrestling attire once again, to inherit the rich wrestling culture of the Mongolian people…
