Agent hero James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) discovers a world-class media tycoon's scheme in North Korea. Gustav Graves plots to develop a satellite similar to a second sun to incite global war, aiming to achieve his ambition of controlling the Earth. Of course, Bond will not allow Graves' conspiracy to succeed, so he begins an investigation in North Korea. Through his investigation, Bond uncovers Graves' true identity: the former North Korean leader Zao, who has undergone cosmetic surgery.
