Indio (Gian Maria Volonté) is a notorious criminal wanted for multiple offenses with his gang. He has a pocket watch, which he checks before each massacre, and within it is a photo of a woman. Bounty hunter Manco (Clint Eastwood) is in pursuit of Indio, and another bounty hunter, Colonel Douglas Mortimer (Lee Van Cleef), is after the same target. Initially, the two don't get along but later decide to team up to capture Indio. They learn that Indio plans to rob a bank and devise a plan for Manco to infiltrate Indio's gang, while Mortimer will provide support from the outside. Eventually, both men are captured by Indio. Will Manco and Mortimer be able to eliminate Indio, and what is the connection between the woman in Indio's pocket watch and Mortimer? This film is a "spaghetti western" directed by Italian director Sergio Leone.
