Professor Alfred Kinsey from Indiana University shocked the world with the publication of "The Kinsey Report" in 1939, which serves as the academic foundation for the most comprehensive and candid investigation into sexual ecology to date, an astonishing body of work that involved interviewing 12,000 Americans. In his training for student interviews, Kinsey (played by Liam Neeson) narrates the story of his life... Kinsey was born into a family dominated by his father. A nature enthusiast, Kinsey eventually freed himself from his father's control in his youth, pursuing his passion for biological research. While teaching at the university, he married graduate student MacMillan (played by Laura Linney).
