"On January 3, 1889, Turin. Friedrich Nietzsche stopped in front of door number six of the Via Carlo Alberto Hotel. His gaze was drawn to a carriage outside the hotel. Not far away, a small carriage was halted. The driver of the carriage was facing a stubborn horse. No matter how the driver shouted, the horse showed no intention of moving. Eventually, the driver lost his patience, picked up the whip, and struck at the horse. Upon seeing this, Nietzsche squeezed into the crowd, rushed to the horse, stopped the driver, and embraced the horse's neck, crying bitterly. The hotel owner came over and pulled Nietzsche away. Back at the hotel, Nietzsche lay quietly and immobile on the sofa for two days. After that, he whispered a few words. What followed was a decade of madness and instability for Nietzsche, cared for by his sister and mother. No one knows what happened in Turin, what occurred with that horse, and in Nietzsche's mind."
