This film is shot entirely on high-definition film and is crafted by the original team of “Teletubbies.” Producer Ann Wood once again creates a beautiful garden in the UK, featuring meticulously designed puppets and high-tech animation. Young viewers are easily attracted by the colorful garden, realistic animations, and amusing characters. Unlike typical children's programs, "Tumble Tots" does not overtly aim to "teach" something to toddlers but instead offers a joyful time of curious exploration for children aged 1 to 5. Tumble Tots - Character Introduction The character Igglepiggle: A blue Igglepiggle resembling a teddy bear, he is a visitor to the garden and returns to his little boat at night. He always drags a red blanket and suddenly lies flat when startled. Upsy Daisy is his best friend in the garden. The lovable Igglepiggle is active and energetic, bouncing around non-stop. He is both curious and adventurous but also quite modest. Sometimes he needs encouragement and comfort, relying on his blanket which says “Don’t worry, Igglepiggle.” "Yes, I’m Igglepiggle,"... any surprise will excite him immensely, causing him to bend over with laughter! However, he quickly straightens up and starts laughing again. Upsy Daisy: With her colorful braided hair, Upsy Daisy looks like a rag doll. When she is happy, her colorful braids stick up. Upsy Daisy’s bed is alive and moves freely in the garden, so before going to sleep, she must catch her bed to prevent it from running away. Upsy Daisy loves to sing and has an orange standing microphone. She is a cheerful and optimistic doll, very confident and expressive, and she loves to dance all over the garden. She and Igglepiggle are best friends, almost like siblings. Makka Pakka: Makka Pakka is rounder than Igglepiggle and lives in a small cave, sleeping on a stone bed. Makka Pakka always pushes a cute little cart around the garden, which holds sponges, soap, and a red trumpet. He loves to clean and organize, acting as the guardian of the garden. Makka Pakka enjoys collecting and cleaning small stones. He also likes to help other toys wash and dry their faces. Makka Pakka sleeps in his little cave on a colorful bedding set. When he goes to bed, he always brings his favorite stone with him. Tombliboo: Tombliboo is a doll dressed in polka dots and stripes. They are Tombliboo An, Tombliboo Ooo, and Tombliboo Eh, three babies who sleep on the same bed in a bush. They always recite their names when they appear, love to drum and play the piano, and always remember to brush their teeth before bed. They often huddle together, rarely acting alone, and their pants often fall down unexpectedly. While in the bush, they either play the piano, drum, stack bricks, or sort bricks. An's outfit is red and green. Ooo's outfit is brown and pink, and Eh's outfit is pink and yellow. The Pontipines: The Pontipines are a family of ten who live under a tree. They wear red clothing and sleep in the same room. Mr. Pontipine has a mustache, which often flies away by itself and lands on Mrs. Pontipine's face. Mrs. Pontipine wears binoculars around her neck to look for missing children. The Pontipines can fly down the chimney into their home. Mr. and Mrs. Pontipine have eight children, four boys and four girls, who often go missing, but thankfully the little ones always find their way home safely. The Pontipines’ neighbor is another family of ten—the Wottingers. The Wottingers: They are a family of ten living next door to the Pontipines, looking exactly the same, but the Wottingers’ clothes are blue with red trim, while the Pontipines wear red clothing! The Wottingers always greet the Pontipines. Ha Hoos: The Ha Hoos are five oversized pillow-shaped characters who leisurely stroll around the garden. They are quiet and gentle but big enough to block Makka Pakka's path—no small feat! When they pile up to sleep, they call out to each other. Ninky Nonk: The Ninky Nonk is a somewhat comical train made up of carriages of different sizes and shapes. The Ninky Nonk waddles through the fence, making its best efforts to climb up and down tree trunks, sometimes even flipping over while weaving between branches! The toys need to buckle up their seat belts tight! Tumble Tots - Launching in China The BBC has decided to release all 100 episodes in the Chinese market after negotiations with China Central Television, with broadcasts scheduled on CCTV in the second half of 2009. DVD discs and character dolls will also be released for sale at that time. It has been reported that the version of "Tumble Tots" broadcast in China will be entirely dubbed in Mandarin for the convenience of Chinese children watching.
