Cheung Chau Island in Hong Kong is a small place where people are born and raised, enjoying a leisurely life without much ambition. However, a headstrong "Cheung Chau beauty," Luo Jiao (played by Gillian Chung), seeks revenge on a rival for a slap in the face and decides to recruit a few good friends to participate in the "Water Lily" 4x100 swimming relay to win the championship. To achieve this, she kidnaps "Flying Fish Prince" Guo Zhiyuan (played by Alex Fong) and forces him to train her and her friends: the unfortunate sickly Ah Yu (played by Huang Shengyi), and the herbivorous twins "Big Flower" (played by Kiki Sheung) and "Little Flower" (played by Zhu Xun). After rigorous training, and with a superpower granted to her by the "Sea Guanyin" (played by Tian Liang) that she stumbles upon, Jiao and her friends improve their swimming skills dramatically. Guo Zhiyuan also gradually develops feelings for Jiao, but she mistakenly believes he likes Ah Yu. The competition finally arrives, and the "Sea Guanyin" blesses them to victory, while Jiao and Guo Zhiyuan's romance faces a separation as he gets taken away by his manager…
