In 1934, the renowned German female director Leni Riefenstahl was invited to film "Triumph of the Will." The film was conceived by the Nazis and sponsored by the Third Reich, documenting the meetings, rallies, and parades at the peak of Nazi power. To facilitate the filming, the Reich provided unlimited funding, a crew of over a hundred people, countless spotlights, sixteen top cinematographers, thirty cameras, twenty-two chauffeur-driven cars, and uniformed mobile officers. This large and luxurious production team, combined with Riefenstahl's genius creativity and aesthetic philosophy, delivered one of the most perfect and controversial masterpieces in film history. "Triumph of the Will" is referred to as "the most authoritative propaganda film," winning the Best Documentary Award at the Venice Film Festival and the Paris Film Festival in 1935.
