After being forced to commit suicide, Hanpingtai (played by Ryo Nishikido) unexpectedly travels to the modern era. After experiencing a series of disaster-like accidents, Hanpingtai meets a kind old man, Masaru Saeki (played by Rio Morimoto). Saeki runs a tutoring school and not only takes in the homeless Hanpingtai but also appoints him as a temporary teacher at the school. 　　Saeki's granddaughter, Haruka (played by Aimi Tsubasa), is highly suspicious of Hanpingtai's true identity and is filled with vigilance. Later, Hanpingtai encounters Ryoma Sakamoto (played by Takayuki Goda), who had traveled from the past before him, and the two join forces to find a way back to the past. As time passes, Hanpingtai develops a deep bond with Saeki's family. Utilizing his battlefield experience, he solves one problem after another that arises around him, gaining the love and trust of the children.
