Wing Chun successor Liang Xiangdong and Hung Gar successor Liu Zhaoxi have always been at odds due to their disdain for each other's martial arts. These two stubborn old men often compete with one another, resulting in many humorous situations. Liang's son, Wing Chun, and Liu's daughter, Hung Gar, are also influenced by their fathers; although living next to each other, their families never socialize. Wing Chun works at a media company where Hung Gar is his superior, which makes him extremely unhappy. Despite being the successor of Wing Chun, he only has a superficial understanding of martial arts, and in order to hold his head high in front of Hung Gar, he must diligently learn martial arts from his father. Liu also passes his lifelong skills to his daughter, hoping she can be equal to her male counterparts. After a series of humorous incidents, Hung Gar and Wing Chun transition from rivals to a happy couple, resolving the feud between their families, and the two martial arts clans finally live in harmony.
