The story follows the protagonist, Naoki Matsuoka (played by Taisuke Kawayama), who is assigned to the political department as a reporter, responsible for reporting on the Chief Cabinet Secretary's news, and breaks into the "TOP LEAGUE," composed of reporters pursuing powerful figures in the political world.
