Former agent Frank Moses (played by Bruce Willis) once fought alongside his comrades, experiencing many adventures. Now they all enjoy a leisurely life at home, retired and at peace. However, this calm is suddenly shattered on Christmas Eve when a heavily armed group of intruders breaks into Frank's home and attacks him. As a seasoned agent, Frank and his colleagues know too many secrets about the government and military, making them targets for assassination. Unwilling to leave his fate in the hands of others, Frank enlists the help of his old partners Joe Matheson (played by Morgan Freeman), Marvin Boggs (played by John Malkovich), and Victoria (played by Helen Mirren) to mount a fierce counterattack... This film is adapted from the comics by Warren Ellis and Cully Hamner.
