The film is based on a true story. Jack Abramoff is the so-called "political machine"; although he is not a politician himself, he is well-versed in politics. Since his college years, Jack has been a passionate political enthusiast, ambitiously supporting Reagan's presidential campaign. Decades later, Jack Abramoff began his speculative "lobbyist" career, utilizing his connections with high-ranking government officials to open many casinos. Surrounding his "business," various people clustered around Jack Abramoff. Among them, Michael Scanlon is his favorite business partner. Driven by greed and money, Jack starts to manipulate the casinos through his network, encroaching on Native American lands, and gradually extending his reach into more sensitive areas: Russian spies, turning third-world countries into "factories" and "dumping grounds" for developed nations… even involving some premeditated murders. However, Jack's political career didn't last long; soon his notorious misdeeds were exposed. Ironically, the revelation came from accusations within the Republican Party, detailing Jack's various crimes. He himself was imprisoned, becoming a convict. Of course, some of his business partners and high-ranking officials at the White House also fell alongside him.
