The five friends, Zhegu Cai (played by Sammo Hung), Huǒqí Shēn (played by Chin Siu Ho), Xīniú Pí (played by Fung Hark-On), Dàshēng Dì (played by Eric Tsang), and Luóhàn Guǒ (played by Danny Lee), have recently been feeling extremely bored. Each of them boasted about their attempts to pick up girls, but ended up with nothing. At their lowest moment of boredom, the Five Lucky Stars decided to take a trip to an outlying island. They encountered continuous trouble along the way, but still found joy in it. One night, while they were having fun, they heard strange sounds coming from a vacant mansion next door. Dàshēng Dì and Zhegu Cai bravely went over, only to discover a male and female ghost. The next day, they reported it to Bawang Hua (played by Judy Hu), who, despite not believing the Five Lucky Stars, sent four stunning female police officers, including Liang Lai Di, to investigate.
