In this episode, courageous detective Chan Ka-Kui (played by Jackie Chan) travels to the mainland, disguised as a prisoner to infiltrate an international arms and drug smuggling syndicate. With the help of beautiful police officer Yang Jianhua (played by Michelle Yeoh), Ka-Kui successfully approaches the imprisoned syndicate member Leopard Qiang (played by Yuen Wah). Leopard Qiang considers Ka-Kui a trusted confidant and plans a prison break with him. To cast a wider net, Ka-Kui readily agrees. After their escape, Leopard Qiang insists on hiding in the hometown that Ka-Kui fabricated. Fortunately, thanks to arrangements made by Yang Jianhua in advance, they avoid detection. Yang Jianhua claims to be Ka-Kui's younger sister and accompanies them. They arrive in Hong Kong and meet the syndicate's boss, Cai Ba, successfully becoming members of the group. Cai Ba takes his men to Kuala Lumpur to rescue his kidnapped wife, where they encounter Ka-Kui's girlfriend, Ah Mei (played by Maggie Cheung). Unaware that Ka-Kui is on a mission, Ah Mei thinks he is having an affair with Yang Jianhua. Ah Mei's actions raise suspicions among the syndicate members, leading to an imminent showdown!
