This film is a representative work of the famous director and martial arts choreographer Cheng Xiaodong during his acting era. The story describes how Cheng Xiaodong ends up in prison for a wrongful murder. Before a death row inmate passes away, he gives him half of a copper medal and tells him to find the other half, which will reveal its mysterious use. Later, Cheng meets Hou Chaosheng in prison, and together they escape. During their flight, they discover that the copper medal is related to a conflict in the underworld, and realize that both of them possess half of the medal. When combined, the two halves reveal the characters "长白之巅, 猛虎之岭," along with a map of mountains. Following the clues, they head to Changbai Mountain's Menghu Ridge to uncover the secrets of "Tongbi Quan" and train hard to fight against their pursuers...
