The film was released in 3D format in India. The fireworks worker Nani (played by Nani) has had a crush on the girl across the building, Bindu (played by Samantha Ruth Prabhu), for two years. Although he has never received her affirmation, he remains infatuated with her. The owner of the construction company sponsoring Bindu, Sudhip (played by Sudeep), also has his eyes on her. This seemingly wealthy and powerful man is, in fact, a ruthless gang leader. He tries every means to seduce Bindu, but he discovers that she loves Nani. Just as Bindu wants to muster the courage to express her feelings to Nani after a sweet night together, Nani is murdered by the jealous Sudhip.
