The story takes place in 1941, during the most intense period of the Anti-Japanese War, which began four years ago. Both sides are fighting fiercely, the battlefield situation is changing rapidly, and no one knows what tomorrow will bring. Led by Colonel Chen Naide, the Flying Tigers strike like a sharp knife into the heart of the Japanese invaders, delivering a heavy blow to the aggressors. In an aerial battle, the ace pilot John’s plane is hit, and after parachuting out, he lands in Wind Chime Crossing. In a moment of crisis while being pursued by the Japanese, the hunter-born Mu Liangfeng (played by Yang Shuo) comes to his aid. Mu Liangfeng possesses remarkable shooting skills and is, at his core, a robust man willing to sacrifice his life for his country. Seizing this opportunity, the ordinary Mu Liangfeng gets swept into the tide of resistance and encounters the beautiful and enchanting Liu Yan (played by Zhou Yang) and the innocent and adorable army doctor Zhao Xiaotian (played by Zhu Lin). The marksman Mu Liangfeng gradually grows into a legendary hero capable of taking on the national cause… This film is adapted from Li Xiaomin’s novel of the same name.
