After the world of faith is turned upside down, she discovers that her beloved father has died. When a mysterious and alluring young man becomes her hockey coach, she finds a compassionate spiritual faith and the mother figure she desperately needs. What she doesn't know is that Sissy comes from an ancient family of witches, using the fruit of an old cherry tree in a secret ritual to restore life to the dead and dying. In exchange for healing her father, Sissy strikes a bargain with faith, and she suddenly finds herself pregnant, with the child growing at an astonishing rate. But as the child's birth looms and the ticking clock reveals the true intentions of the increasingly evident plans of the young man, Faith and her father must stand together to save their lives.
