In the 19th century, the Valdemar mansion became shrouded in danger and mystery due to a mysterious séance. Its influence remains powerful into the 21st century. Following the disappearances of Olicia and Luisa Laurent (played by Silvia Abascal), real estate assessment company owner Maximilian (played by Eusebio Poncela) sends his subordinates Eduardo (played by Rodolfo Sancho) and Anna (played by Norma Ruíz) back to the Valdemar mansion, but they are ambushed on the way and go missing. Meanwhile, private detective Nicolás (played by Óscar Jaenada) and Selvia (played by Ana Risueño) continue their investigation into Luisa and the history of Valdemar. Under Selvia's narration, legends of a mysterious book, evil spirits, and humanity's most horrific crimes come to light... This film won the Best Special Effects Award at the 2011 International Fantasy Film Festival.
