14-year-old girl Kristi (played by Brenna O'Brien) accidentally causes a serious car accident while driving, resulting in severe psychological trauma, and her sister Vanessa (Carly Pope) who was sitting next to her also suffers serious injuries. Six months later, Vanessa is declared dead, and Kristi's mental state deteriorates further, leading her to be sent to a rehabilitation hospital for treatment.
