Wei Jie (Li Chuangrui), A Bao (Lu Kaijun), and Jian Ren (Hong Cijian) are considered "bad kids" by the adults around them. They don’t study hard and spend their days dreaming up various strange ideas. Due to years of neglect, the rebellious Jian Ren goes astray and, overwhelmed by debt, has no choice but to seek help from a loan shark. To assist Jian Ren, the mechanically talented Wei Jie invents a "debt collection machine." With the help of this machine, Jian Ren operates with newfound confidence. When the mafia boss Lao Ma (Wu Qixian) inadvertently encounters the machine's power, he plots to steal it for use in drug trafficking. Teacher CK (Chen Xiaodong) discovers this conspiracy and, being kind and just, decides to help the three kids get back on the right path.
