"Hall Pass" is created by the Farrelly Brothers, known for their lowbrow comedy and toilet humor. A Hall Pass is a type of "privilege card" used by students in the United States and Canada. If there are special circumstances during class or lectures, this card allows students to temporarily leave the classroom. Rich (Owen Wilson) and Fred (Jason Sudeikis) are very good friends. Although they have stable marriages, they can't help but fantasize about flings and are full of dreams about the women who come and go. Their wives come up with a bold plan, giving them a week of freedom, promising not to question their lives. After receiving the seven-day "Hall Pass," the two feel that their dreams have finally come true and start living the life they’ve always desired with some married friends. However, this carefree single life brings unexpected sadness and pain. They realize that a free-wheeling life isn't nearly as enjoyable as family life. Upon discovering this, Rich and Fred come to an epiphany and desperately seek to return to their families...
