This film tells the inspiring story of five boys who were originally clueless about ski jumping, as they undergo rigorous training to compete for the opportunity to host the Olympic Games, witnessing each other’s growth along the way. In 1996, to prepare for the Winter Olympics, Jeollabuk-do in South Korea was gearing up. However, the International Olympic Committee notified them that since Jeonju had never participated in ski jumping, their hosting rights would be revoked without a team to enter the ski competition. The organizing committee was thrown into chaos, and they decided to immediately form a national ski jumping team. In the midst of the panic, they hastily gathered five "national representatives" who knew nothing about ski jumping: Bob (played by Ha Jung-woo), who was adopted by an American and returned to find his birth mother; the impulsive club waiter Hong-cheol (played by Kim Dong-wook); the timid boy Beon (played by Choi Jae-hwan), who obediently listens to his father; and the brothers Gi-joo (played by Kim Gi-seok), who wants to escape military service, and his younger brother Bong-joo (played by Lee Jae-young). Under the guidance of the unqualified former children's ski coach Bang Jong-sam (played by Sung Dong-il), these five boys with distinct personalities begin a grueling training journey.
