In Paris, France, there is a special unit in the police system—the Juvenile Protection Unit. They deal with issues related to drug use, trafficking, murder, assault, and abuse, focusing solely on one target group: the vast population of youth. In their work, they relentlessly dig into the backgrounds of victims and suspects to uncover the truth and provide children with a healthy environment to grow up in. In their personal lives, they engage in loud debates over their political opinions while also experiencing the joys, sorrows, and struggles of life. They are an extraordinarily ordinary group of people doing a job of great significance... This film won the Jury Prize at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival; it also received the Best Editing Award and the Most Promising Actress Award (Naidra Ayadi) at the 2012 César Awards.
