When you have to meet your partner's parents during the New Year, but there is an unresolved rift with your own mother, what will you do? As the Spring Festival approaches, chief advertising creative director Li Chaoyang (played by Wang Guanyi) and planning director Liu Zihong (played by Liu Yase) prepare to shoot an advertisement. However, at the client's request, they switch to a live broadcast of their family's New Year's Eve reunion dinner. Although the two are at the stage of discussing marriage, they have not yet met each other's parents. Chaoyang also has no contact with his mother Li Yanling (played by Xiang Yun), which presents a challenge for him. Thus, he has a brilliant idea to hire a group of actors to play his relatives.
