Veteran television producer Gan Guo-liang and new wave filmmaker Leung Pu-chi co-directed the 1988 comedy "Keep Dancing," starring Miao Qian-ren, Xin Ma Shi-zeng, Zeng Zhi-wei, Wu Yao-han, Huang Zhan, Li Xiang-qin, Meng Hai, Lin Yi-lian, and Lin Jian-ming. In the film, Miao Qian-ren plays two roles, the twin sisters Cheung Ng and Cheung Ng's younger sister. The younger sister originally lives in a mental hospital, but she cunningly tricks the elder sister into coming to the hospital, swaps identities, and then goes out into society to search for her heartless ex-husband. The story tells of how the younger sister encounters a postman who is infatuated with the elder sister and meets a wealthy businessman, Tang Sha-wang, through feng shui. The three get along surprisingly well.
