Eva (played by Gabrielle Union) lost her parents at a young age. As the eldest daughter, the responsibility of raising her three younger sisters—Kerrian (Essence Atkins), Bethany (Robinne Lee), and Jaquie (Meagan Good)—naturally fell on her shoulders.
